The power pack serves as a power source for VCB panels in substations where the station battery supply is unavailable. It stores energy in a backup capacitor from a line-connected PT, ensuring reliable operation of circuit breakers even when AC input is unavailable. The unit provides two outputs:
- Stored Output: Supplies power when AC input is not available.
- Non-Stored Output: Operates as long as AC input is present.
