  • Active Shield Compensation: Reduces the impact of material build-up on sensing elements, maintaining consistent performance over time.

Working Principle

The Rope Type RF Admittance Level Switch operates by measuring capacitance changes to detect liquid levels. It comprises a sensing rope that functions as a capacitor and a guard electrode. In the absence of liquid, the capacitance remains stable. When liquid contacts the sensing rope, the dielectric properties of the liquid alter the capacitance between the rope and the guard electrode. This change is continuously monitored by the electronic circuitry. Upon reaching a predefined threshold, the switch activates, triggering alarms or controlling connected equipment to maintain desired liquid levels.
